With the current media coverage on troubled banks, you may be wondering if your accounts are secure at Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union. The answer is, yes!
Not only is our credit union sound and stable, every credit union in Oregon is federally insured by a fund that is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government. The National Credit Union Share Insurance (NCUSIF) insures accounts to at least $250,000 per account.
The NCUSIF is administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. For more information on federal share insurance, see the NCUA brochure "Your Insured Funds," available at the following link:

We also welcome you to come in or call us if you would like more information on our share insurance coverage.
The National Credit Union Administration opened a call center on September 23rd and posted an electronic tool kit to help members and credit unions better understand the insurance protection NCUA provides for member accounts.
The NCUA Insurance Call Center, operating from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (EDT) Monday through Friday, has insurance experts available to answer questions about the coverage provided by NCUA share insurance. The toll-free Insurance Call Center number is 1-800-755-1030, extension 1.
