Important Board Election Notice

Larry Wagner, Chairman of the Board of Directors, hereby notifies all eligible voting members of Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union that the Nominating Committee, chaired by Bob Boring and also consisting of DeAnn Akins and Janet Buckalew present the following slate of nominees to be elected to three open positions on the Board of Directors.

Terry Gail - Vice Chairman
Terry is retired. He was the Assistant Principal for Brixner Junior High School.
Member Since: 1984
Board Member Since: 2001
Volunteer Positions Held: Terry is currently serving as the Board Vice Chairman. He is active in United Evangelical Free Church as a branch-group leader. He is also a member of the local chapters of the Oregon Hunters' Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Unlimited Pheasants. He is a retired OSAA Basketball Official of twenty-five years and continues to serve as a Track and Field Official for athletes in district and state track meets.

Ed Ormsbee - Treasurer
Ed is President/General Manager at Cal-Ore Telephone.
Member Since: 1986
Board Member Since: 2001
Volunteer Positions Held: Ed is currently serving as the Board Treasurer. He also serves on the California Telephone Association Board of Directors, as well as a few industry Boards, and is on the Board for a company called Fugasity, which is a semi conductor related business.

Harry Hansen
Harry is retired. He was a California Educator with 35 years of service. He is also a trained Archaeologist and has been a Law Enforcement Ranger.

Volunteer Positions Held: Harry is currently working with CASA.

There are three nominees running to fill three vacant positions on the Board of Directors.

If you missed the nomination deadline but would still like to be in the running for one of the available Board positions, you may submit a petition for nomination. In order to do this you must be a member in good standing and obtain a petition signed by 1% of the membership, which is approximately 130 members. A statement of qualifications and a brief biographical sketch must also accompany this petition. You may get complete details regarding nomination by petition and the petition form by contacting Executive Assistant, Sharon Hartley at 541-850-7734. Completed petitions must be submitted by March 6, 2010. We would like to remind you that no nominations will be accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting.

Note: If no petitions are received by March 6, 2010, a vote will not be necessary and the three nominees will be appointed at the Annual Meeting on April 20, 2010.

Important Supervisory Committee Notice

Bob Boring, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, hereby notifies all eligible voting members of Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union that there are currently two open positions on the Supervisory Committee. The Supervisory Committee is a good starting point to learn the inner workings of your Credit Union and very beneficial for those considering running for the Board of Directors in the future.
