PCFCU Community Commitment

Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union believes in our community and we are committed to partnering with local schools and charitable organizations to foster growth and strengthen our community. It has long been a tradition for PCFCU to encourage our staff to volunteer with community programs and when possible PCFCU enjoys contributing to local organizations and events thus giving back to the communities where we live and work.

With this in mind, we have developed the following guidelines to assist local organizations to submit donation/sponsorship requests.

Our Cooperative Focus and Financial Ability:

PCFCU's focus in supporting the community is primarily involving youth, education, elderly, and public service organizations. With this in mind we also evaluate the requests by geographic significance and existing budget.

When requesting a donation or sponsorship, unless from a school, please provide proof of your organizations current tax-exempt status under Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your school or organization must be located in or benefit the communities of Klamath, Lake, Modoc, or northeast Siskiyou Counties in Oregon and California.

PCFCU will not consider individual requests, personal entertainment or travel requests, requests solely for religious activities, or requests for political activities.

To help us better understand the purpose of your request, please tell us how your organization or event will benefit the community. Does your organization or event further financial literacy in the community? Does it reach out to the underserved population? Will the Credit Union receive any recognition from your organization or event?

Tell us how much you are requesting and how will the funds be used. PCFCU's average community contribution is between $50 and $500 per year. Please provide us with deadline and/or event dates and we will respond as quickly as possible. Please let us know if your organization or event would also benefit from volunteers from PCFCU as well. We are happy to communicate volunteer opportunities to our Management and staff.
